Season 3's Theme

Ahhhh the written word... How I've missed thee. For the un-indoctrinated, Decoded actually started a blog WWAAAAYYYY back in the day and while this may be one of a select few times I choose to channel the ever-maddening thoughts swirling throughout my brain here please don't let it lull you into thinking this is not substantial.

-"Hey guy why don't you get to the point already?"-

Alright, alright I get it, everyone's busy surfing the internet jumping from one dopamine hit to the other that they'll hardly have the time nor patience to wade through the $10 words and expository rhetoric being thrown around so here's the long and short.

I'm too busy getting ready for an amazing evening to put this into a video...

"Wow Keith," I hear you say. "Way to just rub in how unabashedly great your life is." To which I will say dear reader I am actually attempting to size you up so when juxtaposition hits you won't know where the rug went or how it got pulled from underneath you.

My life has been nothing but a struggle these past few months...

Though I should quickly state that this struggle has been self-inflicted and opened my eyes to what I truly want Season 3 of Decoded to be about. So here it is:

Decoded Season 3 will be about The Human Condition

Yes, we did a review of Jon Bellion's 'The Human Condition,' and dear lord was it amazing but in this context we are speaking directly towards the philosophy of people and what forms us into what we do. Is this a weirdly heady turn of events considering this channel started as a few pop culture junkies looking for their next hit of that sweet sweet dopamine? Sure, but I feel it is a necessary transition.

I tire of the days where we are defined by what we consume as opposed to what we aspire...

So I hope you will follow along on this journey. I've already started forming out a few ideas for topics and would love any suggestions you're willing to give. In the cases where pop culture is relevant to the discussion sure I'll love to cover it. But i'm done chasing all that glitter and gold, it made me in to someone I'm not the proudest of and I hope this fledgling community can accept or at least appreciate it.
Lastly, I will be looking for people to come on either via Skype or at the new studio to sit down and do live episodes together. We can talk about anything as long as the conversation is something you are passionate about.

With that I steal yet another Sol-ism and I leave you.

Did E3 Wow Us Enough? | Decoded Gamescast E6

E3 is supposed to be the time of year where publishers and big games wow it's audience with the spectacle that is the next few years in gaming. This year, passes were given out to the public in an attempt to save the withering Entertainment Expo from dying out completely. Did this end up working in everyone's favor or did Big Games end up watering down what is usually a fantastic show? James Beaupied and Keithlegion sit down to discuss.

To test out a new format this week's Decoded Movie Reviews will be released on Saturday so let us know what you think! Cars 3 is the third in a very rocky film series for Pixar. While the first was hailed as a good film, the 2nd was critically panned with it's divergence on what made the original so good. To combat this pixar decided to take the film back to it's roots with Cars 3, but can the film re-ignite the Cars' Franchise or does the film end up stalling into a ditch?
